Regarding doing Hindi movies Daljit says, “I got a Hindi film role because of Punjabi films. The budget of Punjabi films is increasing with time and they are being released on more and more screens. If we keep getting such kind of support from the viewers, then the Punjabi film industry is going to do great”.
He just want that his fans should enjoy his film and says, “Please don’t have expectations from me, I’m only enjoying my life. Even I don’t have any expectations from myself. I never thought if my films would do good or not, and I still don’t,” he said.
Diljit, whose “Punjab 1984″ won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi, says he feels honored that the film bagged the accolade.
