Allahabad: Principal and teachers of Private school in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh resigned after being denied permission to organise an event involving singing of National Anthem for 15th August.
Earlier, the Principal and the teachers denied permission for ‘National Anthem’ event for 15th August.
Principal of the school said that I went to school management seeking permission to organise events like singing of National Anthem and Saraswati Vandana for 15th August.
He said that I was told such events have not been organized in school ever since it was established(approx 15 years), won’t be done this year too.
Principal also said that On being asked the reason, he said he has an issue with one line in National Anthem- ‘Bharat Bhagya-vidhaata’.
Principal: He said that he is of the belief that people write their own destiny and it is not the nation which determines one’s fate.
