Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all set to make his television debut with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8, and the actor is leaving no stone unturned to make his TV debut perfect. Reportedly, the Haider actor already wanted to work with East India Company, that’s why he signs Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The leading channel Colors is happy to get him on the board. The cineartist will judge the show along with choreographer Ganesh Hegde, filmaker Karan Johar and actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb. Shahid who has replaced Madhuri Dixit on the show is rumoured to be charging a whopping amount of about Rs 1.75 crore per episode.

The contestants for this season are popular TV stars Sanaya Irani, Vivian Dsena, Ashish Choudhry, Dipika Samson, Kavita Kaushik, Radhika Madan and Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty, among others. The show will go air from July 11.
Manish Paul was choose to host the show along with RJ Pritam but Pritam himself walked out of the show and he himself informed about it to his fans on his official page of the micro blogging site. As per source, the RJ was not happy with the channels creative ideas. So it was better for him to leave the show.
He will reportedly be seen in the upcoming Optimystix Entertainment comedy show with Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri. The show, which will air on Colors, is said to be the channel’s version of Comedy Circus.
