Perhaps The show will make a comeback without the two stars of eyes– Sooraj and Sandhya played by Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid who also hit the headlines for some ugly fights. A source revealed that the makers have considered Bollywood actors to be a part of the show and they approached some.

Sources said,” The producers have proposed Sharman Joshi and Sonu Sood to work on the front while the leading lady will be a new face as if Sharman gives his assent for the same, the team will start to plot the last episode soon . While Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid will not be the members of the fresh season of Diya Aur Baati Hum, the rest of the cast will be retained back.

From the prevailing season, the only actors will be looped includes Bhabho (Neelu Waghela), Baba Sa (Ashok Lokhande), Meena (Kanika Maheshwari) and Vikram (Karan Godwani). In the new kickstart, Sooraj and Sandhya will be show-round dead and the story will take off from there to a new level.

Sources contacted with the show which confirmed that the story plot for ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum‘ second installment has already started and currently the auditions for the lead girl is on. The opening episodes will be filmed in Kerala and the makers and channel are intending to give the show completely new feel and some twists and turns to the second season.

This time, the producers want a strong character and macho actor for the main male cast who is few films older to add a celeb factor to the fresh season. While for the female lead the hunt is on for a newcomer as it would be a role of a mere homely woman.
