Even Filmmaker are scared from making movies in Delhi because of Crime, recently famous Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra has cancelled the Delhi schedule of his next film Aur Devdas, saying it was unsafe for women members of his film crew to shoot in the capital, NDTV reported on Monday. On February 20, Mr Mishra wrote on Twitter: “Today my shoot was cancelled because the line producer could not guarantee the safety of the unit. I say this without bias. I really love Delhi but shooting on its outskirts is really scary and I was worried about the women in the unit.

“I love Delhi but shooting in the city’s outskirts can be frightening. I was worried about the safety of my female crew members. I am responsible for the safety of my crew and when my line producer said he couldn’t guarantee their safety, I decided to move the unit,” NDTV quoted him as saying.
In relation to this Director Sudhir Mishra said, “My line producer said he could not guarantee the security for my women crew members. I had 1-2 days shooting left but then I had to take care of my group hence I decided to not shoot here. I returned to Mumbai. I will shoot the remaining portions elsewhere.” says bollywooddhamaka.in

Most Part of the film has already been done and shooting is done around Lucknow. Aur Devdas, an adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Devdas, stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Richa Chadda as Paro and Chandni/Chandramukhi. Ugly actor Rahul Bhat plays the title role of Devdas. As per the latest updates, upcoming movie “Aur Devdas” is a political based story. In the movie we are going to see Rahul Bhat in the lead opposite Richa Chaddha and Aditi Rao Hydari.
