MP Sultan Ahmed: Veteran Politician & Trinamool Congress MP Passes Away!

Well, the sad news is coming out straight from the West Bengal where Veteran politician and Trinamool Congress MP Sultan Ahmed pass away after a cardiac arrest. As per the reports, he was rushed to Kolkata’s Belle Vue Clinic hospital for the treatment in an emergency but the doctors declared that he was brought their dead which means it was too late for them to operate him.

After the news spreading on Media West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee tweeted, “Shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of Sultan Ahmed sitting @AITCOfficial LS MP & my long term colleague. Condolences to his family.”

MP Sultan Ahmed Passes Away

Well, if we take a look at the personal and professional life of Ahmed then we can say that he started his political career with Congress party and represented the party from Kolkata’s Entally constituency for two terms before joining the TMC. He was made a minister in the UPA government. He held the portfolio of Minister of State for Tourism in the Manmohan Singh government. Also, he was very popular among the people because of his political work.

Even the sources are saying that the CEO of the hospital said that “Sultan Ahmed has expired. He had a massive cardiac arrest at his home at about 11 15 to 11 30 am. By the time he was brought here it was 12 15 pm. We started the treatment but we had to declare him brought dead.”

As MP, he represented West Bengal’s Uluberia Lok Sabha constituency. Also, he did very great work for the West Bengal. You can say that his absences will always go to be remembered for sure.
