Pakistan, Peshawar army school attack mastermind Umar Mansour killed in US drone strike :- Security officials said that mastermind of Pakistan Taliban Umar Mansour has been killed in US drone strike in Afghanistan. Umar Mansour was the mastermind of Taliban attack on an army school in which 140 children lost their lives in 2014.

Umar Mansour alias Umar Naray had been killed along with his militant leader Qari Saifullah in US drone strike in the province Nangarhar of Afghanistan on Saturday.

Qari Saifullah was in charge of Taliban suicide bombers.

Seven terrorist of banned Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan with gun and explosives entered the Army school in the northwestern city of Peshawar, Pakistan and killed 144 students and staff members of the school on 16th December, 2016.

On 25th May, the US state Department has designated Umar Mansour as a global terrorist and enters the name of Umar Mansour in the hit-list.

There is no official confirmation of Umar mansour’s death from Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan or any independent sources. If it is true that he was dead, it is severe blow for the Taliban.

Pakistan securities agencies regarded Umar as a major threat for Pakistan because of his violent and major terrorist attack across Pakistan.
