Tamil movie “Kaaval”, starring Vimal and Samuthirakani in the lead, has opened to average reviews by critics. Written and directed by Nagendran R, was one of the expected movie of the year, fans were excited for it but critics peende down bad words for the film.

“Kaaval” is based on a true story, deals with the social problems of society including corruption and other problems of society, which is not a new concept, for Indian any movie. Critics stated that.
Although lead stars of the movie Samuthirakani and Vimal performed well. Some of the technical aspects of the film have also managed to impress the critics.
The major drawback of the movie is apparently the execution of the story by the director and the loopholes in the plot that it a passable flick.
G.V. Prakash scored the music of the movie and censored board gives it U/A certificate. The film is only one hour 50 minutes long.
