Tamil Nadu CM Jayalaitaa Takes Oath 6th Time As TN Chief Minister

We all know that Jaylalita won the assembly election in Tamilnadu. Her party worker and all her supporters are very happy after her historic win. So now Jaylalita takes oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister today for the consecutive term.

Jaylalita takes the oath by Governor K Rosaiah at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium. Along 28 ministers including her trusted lieutenant and finance minister O Panneerselvam will take the oath with Jaylalita.

In the Madras University Centenary Auditorium Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Pon Radhakrishnan, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker and senior AIADMK leader M Thambidurai were seated in the first row. DMK treasurer MK Stalin, former DMK Ministers EV Velu, Ponmudy, party MLAs Sekhar Babu, Vagai Chandrasekhar and Ku Ka Selvam were also present there.

Earlier, Jaylalita was called by Rosaiah at the Raj Bhawan. She was called in Raj Bhavan to submit a letter and to inform him of her election as the Leader of the AIADMK legislature party. After that, Rosaiah congratulated Jaylalita and her an inviting letter to form a government.

Jaylalita equipped the list of leaders appointed ministers in her cabinet that was approved by Governor Rosaiah.

We will give you information and the Minister’s name. KP Anbazhagan (higher education), P Thangamani (electricity), Sellur K Raju (cooperation and labour), SP Velumani (municipal administration and rural development), CV Shanmugam (Law and courts).

Edappadi K Palaniswami (public works, highways and minor ports), KT Rajenthra Bhalaji (rural industries), D Jayakumar (fisheries), RB Udhayakumar (revenue), SP Shanmuganathan (milk and dairy development), MC Sampath (labour), KC Veeramani (commercial taxes).

R Kamaraj (food and civil supplies) and C Vijayabaskar (Health). P Benjamin is the minister for school education and sports and youth welfare while MR Vijayabaskar is the transport minister of Tamilnadu. This time, four women are chosen for the cabinet besides three doctors and 13 new faces.

Kadambur Raju (information), Benjamin (school education), Vellamandi N Natarajan (tourism), S Valarmathi (backward classes and minorities welfare), VM Rajalakshmi (Adi Dravidar welfare), M Manigandan (IT), and MR Vijayabaskar (transport).

Dindigul Srinivasan (forest), V Saroja (social welfare), KC Karuppannan (environment), OS Manian (textiles and handlooms), Udumalai Radhakrishnan (housing), R Duraikannu (agriculture and animal husbandry). They are all the new faces in the cabinet.
