The Voice is the world famous singing reality competition and its concept is coming to India in form of ‘The Voice India’ on &TV. The concept of the show is talent hunt for singing, solo or duet. The show will feature talented candidates 16 or sixteen plus. The auditions were set on 3rd and 5th April in Delhi and Mumbai cities. The show will also comprise voting by people to the contestants participating.
Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh and Shaan are confirmed as mentors and judges for this music reality show. The Voice India will be yet another singing based reality show on small screen providing platform to hidden singing talents of India. Four supremely famous National singing sensations Himesh Reshammiya, Mika, Shaan and the gorgeous Sunidhi Chauhan will coach the raw talents to bring out the best in them. The coaches will personally try to persuade their favourite to join their team during the blind auditions but the sole decision lies with the singers. The auditions itself will be grandeur with Live bands, audience amidst a studio where the real talent can be justly spotted. The selection process begins with the preliminary round which is The Blind Auditions. For this show, it is only the voice of the singers that matters and not the looks.
These first auditions will have one too many unique features starting with the automatically turn-away chairs on which the coaches are seated. These chairs will turn away from the stage before the singers enters the stage so that what is heard is only the voice of the singer. If the coaches are impressed with the performance, they get to make the singer a part of their team by pressing, “I WANT YOU” button. It is only after the singer gets selected in a team that the coaches get to see the singer for the first time!
The auditions will be followed with rigorous training wherein the selected singers will be trained by their respective coaches about the nuances of singing. Years of experience that’s matured the coaches will help the singers work hard, drive and discipline themselves. Singers will be mentored to perform in the Battles followed by the Live Round.
