To oppose the cutting of trees, a 20 years old girl set on fire alive in Rajasthan :- Jodhpur: For trying to save the trees from being cut off in her village, a 20 years old girl was burnt alive on Sunday in Pipda city near Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Lalita – the young victim girl, had objected to the cutting of the trees in her farm for the construction of a road near the village.

 

Stopping them from cutting the trees, the accused people angered and shocked. In this incident, a revenue official is among 10 people named in a police complaint.

The Jodhpur Police said that the incident took place on Saturday evening. The victim girl died at a hospital yesterday. After the death of the girl, her her brother filed a complaint against the sarpanch of the village and nine other people.

The brother of the victim girl – Vidyadhar said that the dispute was over a road, my sister was opposing it. They poured petrol on her and set her on fire.

As per the report from media that the Sarpanch of the village – Ranveer Singh was also involved in the incident. Petrol and other inflammable liquids were poured on the girl while she was put on fire. The body of the girl has been kept at MJH hospital of Jodhpur. The Borunda Police has registered a case in the matter and is investigating the matter.

Police officer Suresh Chaudhary told the media that the sarpanch and other people poured petrol on her and burnt her alive. The body is in the mortuary. After a fair investigation, we will arrest the accused soon.
