Fortuner – the popular SUV of Toyota, has been spied testing for the first in the latest avatar in India. In the latest avatar, the spied car was totally covered in camouflage wrap. We have a fair idea about its design, since the car has been disclosed internationally and has been launched in several markets across the world.
Talking about the spied Car – Fortuner, the exterior of the car was hide almost fully in the camouflage skin with the diamond-cut alloy wheels. The alloy wheels of the spied car is the only visible element. The diamond-cut alloy wheels look good.The pictures of spied car – Fortuner suggest that they are not as big as the ones available in global markets. The size of the alloy wheels looks smaller than what the latest Ford Endeavour has.
But, these are only the initial spy shots and not the final product. Toyota is likely to introduce bigger wheels when the car is launched.
Both the 2.4-litre engine and the 2.8-litre engine could be bounced a bit to make them more powerful for off-roading and for handling the 4×4 system smoothly.
It was imagined that auto maker company – Toyota will launch the car by the end of this year, but the plan has been pushed to the first half of the year 2017. The localization will certainly help Toyota bring the costs down, which will help it take on the Endeavour which, with its impressive features and competitive price+ , has dethroned the current Fortuner.
