Tv Star Deepshikha Nagpal files physical Violence case against ex-husband : TV actress Deepshikha Nagpal says that she couldn’t take physical abuse from her ex-husband Mr. Kaishav Arora any more and filed a police case against him to give a message other wives who face similar abuse speak up.
Last year, Deepshikha had filed a police complaint against Kaishav when he threatened to kill her. However, the two sorted out their differences and decided to give their marriage a second chance.
“The first time I did (complaint) and I thought he will be fine, everybody has to give one chance to this marriage. But if on Women’s Day I’m being beaten up, I will not take it. If I remain mum so what will other wives do?” said Deepshikha while she was leaving the Bangur Nagar police station in Mumbai, to file the case according to the sources.
When asked what were the sections on which the case was filed, “They’re (police) saying not to talk right now, will talk later. They’re saying they’re supporting, they will help, the legal procedure is on. I’m just saying, I need my justice, I need my protection, nothing else.”
Deepshikha had married Kaishav, who is also an actor, in 2012. But she added, “We don’t stay together, the divorce took place recently just 3-4 days back.” She also said, “No one has the right to raise their hand on a woman, be it me or any other woman. That’s all I wanted to say, I don’t want to interfere in anyone’s personal life, but I need protection for my life.”
The actress, who has acted in films like Partner and Corporate, was earlier married to actor Jeet Upendra and parted ways in 2007 after about 10 years of marriage. She is also Ex-Bigg Bos Contestant.
Apparently, both of them had constant fights and Kaishav was also cheating on her. So, she felt it was best for them to separate as she didn’t want her kids (from her previous marriage) to undergo any stress. They decided to file a divorce which was finalised on February 24.
According to reports, things took an ugly turn on March 8 when Kaishav barged in her house and physically assaulted her when she refused to give him money.
