Virat Kohli ignored for ICC test team, but made captain in ICC ODI team. :- The latest ICC ranking has brought a mix bunch of emotion for the billions of India with Ravichandran Ashwin named as the ICC Cricketer of the year and ICC Test Cricketer of the year. On the other side, Indians are disappointed as the Indian Test captain although smashing tons of runs in this year has been omitted from the ICC Test team of the year.However, Kohli has been named as the captain of ICC ODI team of the year. But, it has raised few eyebrows for his exclusion from the Test team of the year.ICC ODI team includes the big names like AB De Villiers, Kagiso Rabadda, Quinton de Kock, Imran Tahir from South Africa and from Australia, it features David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc.

England limited-over explosive batsman Joss Buttler has been added to the team and West Indian spinner Sunil Narine has also been included. Apart from Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja has been included in ODI team.

On the other side, R Ashwin is the lone Indian to be included in ICC Test team of the year. Alastair Cook has been named as the captain of Test team, and he is accompanied by Joe Root, Johnny Bairstow and Ben Stokes from the Australia.

From Australia, David Warner, Adam Voges, and Micthell Starch has been named in the Test team. Steven Smith has been included as the 12th man. Rangana Herath is the lone spinner from Sri Lanka. Dale Steyn is the lone cricketer to be included in ICC test team.

Pakistan captain, Misbah-ul-Haq won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award and South Africa’s Marais Erasmus has been honored with the David Shepherd Trophy for ICC Umpire of the Year.
