The automobile industry has been doing some serious business in the India, and Volkswagen is one of the automobile enterprises which is ruling the Indian facilitates industry with its numbers of segment vehicles.
The German bases company is all set to introduce its first hybrid car ‘Passat GTE’. It will be going to be the first car of Volkswagen that will give its rider every reason to smile.
The ‘Passat GTE’ of Volkswagen is the hybrid car that will facilitate 154bhp-1.4L petrol engine which will go to deliver 215bhp of power. It is also equipped with the electric motor that claims the driving range of 1000kms.
This car is also loaded with the modern tech features like touch-screen, USB, and Bluetooth. Meanwhile, it is the Driver Assistance System which is giving ‘Passat GTE’ an edge while competing with the neck to neck competition with the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and BMW 3-series.
EXTERIORS
The refurbished version of Passat GTE’ is bigger and wider than its previous models. The eye-catching part of this vehicle has been its longs and wider radiator grill which is giving the vehicle a classy look.
One can easily figure out that the vehicle has been in classy look with B-pillar are in glossy black finish and window surrounds have a chrome plating. Even, the rear part of it is getting a lot of appreciation from the experts all around the world.
INTERIORS
Meanwhile, a car can only be judged by the interiors of it and this sedan of Volkswagen has stood out when it comes to its interior. The interior has been fully upgraded with TFT display with two analog meters and with the flat-bottomed design of Steering wheel three spokes.
The interior of the Sedan has is fluent with the metallic design and classy dashboard. The Passat GTE is blessed with numbers of functions like automatic climate control unit, power assisted steering with multi-functional switches, an advanced parking assistance function with sensors and rear camera and electrically adjustable seats.
Meanwhile, there are other innovative features like cruise control, rear demister, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, power adjustable, foldable outside mirrors with heating function and electrically operated windows.
PERFORMANCE
The Volkswagen, Passat GTE has 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with a 4-cylindered engine, that will facilitate the more power and performance. The sedan is expected to produce the power of 187bhp along with a torque of 380Nm to 400Nm.
Although, the company will also offer the customers to go for the 1.4-litre TSI engine. There is another 4-cylindered mill which is expected to unleash around 125 bhp of power along with 240 Nm of torque. The German company will accompany the customer with the option of manual and seven speed DSG automatic gearbox option with both these above mentioned engines.
The company is claiming that this sedan will provide the mileage of 15 Kmpl approx, which is quite good when it comes to riding the luxury sedan vehicle. The Volkswagen, Passat GTE will be launched in the month of January next year.
