Passengers shocked and afraid after seen a snake on a commercial flight in Mexico in a scene straight out of the Hollywood thriller ‘Snakes on a Plane’. On Sunday, the green reptile appeared suddenly from the ceiling behind an overhead luggage compartment on an Aeromexico flight from Torreon in the Mexico City.
A passenger – Indalecio Medina shot a cellphone video. In the video, the green reptile is creeping slowly and suddenly fell, but hang in air.
Medina told the media on phone that I was reading a magazine and the passenger next to me saw it. He estimated it was over 3 feet in length.
Medina also said that Passengers made a haste to unbuckle themselves to get clear of the hanging snake before it fell on the floor. The people trapped the snake between 5th and 6th rows with blankets which was provided by a flight attendant.
The plane was given priority landing in Mexico City Airport, after the pilot radioed ahead. As the plane landed, the passengers exited from the rear side, and animal control workers came on board to take the green reptile into custody.

In a statement, Aeromexico airline said that it was investigating how the snake got into the cabin. It would take measures to keep such an incident from happening again.
