Popular Chinese handset maker xiaomi which is known for making affordable handsets will be soon planning to launch the Xiaomi Redmi 3S. Company will be unveiling this handset after Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which is currently reigning the mid segment market and Xiaomi Mi Max phablet. This new smart phone is going to be the company’s latest 4G smartphone which was announced in China last month. Xiaomi Redmi 3S will be available in three color variants like Dark Grey, silver and Gold color variants.
It is going to be available in two variants: one with 2GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage that will be tagged at the amount of 699Yuan or INR 7,120 while the other variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of in-built store is priced at the tag of 899 yuan or INR 9,165 respectively. Company has just announces that they will be launching this handset with no official data on the exact date.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S Specification
It sports 5” HD IPS Display delivering screen resolution up to 720X1280p. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa core processor (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) and it also incorporates Adreno 505 to have augmented graphics. It operates on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS layered by MIUI 7.0.
It entails 13MP of camera at the rear which is combined along with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, video recording at 1080p resolution etc. On front it mounts 5MP of front facing camera along with features like f/2.2 aperture and video recording at 1080p screen resolution.
As we have already mentioned above it is available in two memory variants: 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM with 32GB on-board memory. Memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. It also boards finger print scanner along with infrared sensors. It encompasses Dual SIM with hybrid SIM Slot with connectivity options like 4G LTE, WIFI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS with GLONASS etc.
It also carries 4000mah battery capacity to power the handset all day long. It measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm in dimension and weighs 144 grams.
