The Madhya Pradesh Police has arrested an Engineering student for his controversial social media post a few days back. The 19-year-old student, Abhishek Mishra, used his Twitter handle to wrote a violent post on demonetisation and attacking chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the BJP for pulling out the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes.The teenager has been detained on November 11 and was arrested on November 12. However, Abhishek was bailed out on the November.
Meanwhile, the Police Department had made the arrest of the student a secret affair, which was hidden from all the media sources and the outsiders.Police officers have seized Abhishek’s cell phone, laptops and even deleted his Twitter account and also his controversial tweets. Abhishek has 1600 followers on Twitter and Police deleted his tweets to control this controversial incident. On the other side, Abhishek calls him the RTI activists and video maker and has been the critic of the saffron brigade. According to the teenagers, he does everything to spare awareness and demonetisation were his latest topic and all the tweets was just a normal tweets.
According to the reports, the FIR has been registered against the accused person under section 469 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 66C of Information Technology Act, 2000 against him at the cyber crime cell.
Ravikant Dehariya, Town inspector, cyber cell, Bhopal, informed media wing that the ” Abhishek was arrested because of his controversial post by threatening the life of the chief minister and other important dignitaries.”
He further added that we had deleted his Facebook and we have blocked Twitter post and his website. On the other side, Abhishek’s lawyer Ajay Mishra said ” Abhishek has been arrested for sharing the post of demonetisation of notes and also posted the picture of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Someone read the post in the official office of Shiv Raj Chauhan and informed the Police officer about this case and finally, case has been registered.
