ZTE has recently launched Axon 7 which is yet another into their flagship segment “axon”. It is the successor of popular ZTE Axon announced last year. New ZTE Axon will be available in variants viz. Basic, standard and premium. It comes in two color variants i.e ion Gold and quartz grey. In china customers can pre-book the handset while it will go on sale from 2nd June.

Company has unveiled this handset against the contemporaries like Vivo Xplay 5, , ZUK Z2 Pro, Meizu Pro 6 etc.
Variants and their price:
As we have mentioned above there are going to be three variants: Basic, Standard and Premium.
Basic: it bears 4GB RAM with 16GB of memory on the board and is priced at the amount of INR 2,899 or INR 29,630
Standard: it boards 4GB of RAM collaborated along with 128GB of storage on the board and amounts to INR 33,690 or 3,299 Yuan
Premium: this is the premium version that comes with whopping 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal memory and is tagged at the price of 4,099 Yuan or INR 41,850.
Highlights:
One of the highlighting features can be the fact that it is designed by BMW DesignWork firm. Company has used the unibody metal design accompanied by rounded corner and edges. To have enhanced audio volume and quality we have Dolby Atmos speakers and apart from that there are two audio chips as well: AK4961 and AK4490.
ZTE Axon 7 features
It sports 5.5” AMOLED WQHD Display promising 2560X1440p screen resolution. It incorporates 2.5D curved glasses and comes along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for screen protection. It is powered by qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and also entails adreno 530 GPU to augment the graphics. It operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box which can be further upgradable up to Android N.
It accommodates 20MP of camera at the rear with camera features like f/1.8, PDAF, OIS, dual LED flash etc. On front it mounts 8MP selfie camera which can also be used to have video calls. It houses 3250mAh battery capacity that comes along with quick charge V3.0 feature. It encompasses connectivity options like Wifi , Bluetooth, 4G, GPS, USB Type C port etc.

ZTE VR:
Apart from this handset, ZTE has also announced new ZTE VR which is touted as the first VR set to work on Google’s latest launched “Daydream” platform. It measures 185.3×85.3×76.7mm in dimension and weighs 255grams. With the help of 9-axis gyro sensors company also claims to provide sensor functionality.
