Another superhit and inspirational movie Neerja after Airlift is beating all the records from the first day of its release. Neerja is real life story of 22-year-old braveheart “Neerja Bhanot”, who greeted death with great courage.
The movie starts with an outstanding opening at the box office. The income of the film may not be huge as 40-50 crore, but a movie like Neerja Neerja which have been consciously made on a stringent budget, an opening of Rs 3-4 crore is great.
Neerja is inspirational, moving, powerful, heartbreaking. Director Ram Madhvani narrates the story with panache. Screenwriting is top notch. Sonam Kapoor is the soul of Neerja. A performance that merits all awards. Shabana Azmi is terrific, wins you completely towards the finale.

On the opening day the movie earn 10 crores on the boc office. Neerja is clasing with three other bollywood movies like Loveshhuda, Direct Ishq and Ishq Forever, but none of these movies could give it a tough fight to Neerja.

The film will already be in the safe zone after its first day because the theatrical revenue itself will help Neerja go past the safe zone.
