3 people arrested in Goa for having Rs. 24 lakhs in new currency

The sudden pulling out of the old notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the late evening of November 8, 2016, has been one of the revolutionary act this government has done to tackle black money and corruption. However, things are not that much simple as it looks like as even last night the Goa police arrested three people for having Rs. 2 lakh in the new currency.

The Goa Police take the immediate action when they were informed that three people are suspected to have such big amount in new currency. They responded immediately and raid that place and were shocked to see Rs. 23 lakh in new currency. The police arrested the three involved people and now, investigation are underway.

The biggest question arise here is that how these people get such big amount when the government has only allowed to withdraw Rs. 2000 from ATM and around Rs. 30 thousand from salary account. Well, it looks lie the Bank officials must have involved in this and it is possible that these three people must have exchanged their black money with the white money from banks.
However, we all have to wait for the further investigation.
