Well, Dhanak is average movie doing average business in box office. Movie has not that big names and that’s why I think movie didn’t collecting good busks for the makers. On the other hand I think people have good buzz for the recent release “Udta Punjab” and that’s why maybe they are not attracting towards the movie.

Dhanak is simple non commercial movie. Also I think the presentation of the movie is not that good. Movie has not that big buzz like expected by the makers. I think somewhere makers didn’t did that much justice with the plot like expected by the audience. Also I think somewhere promotion work is not that good for the movie.
One of the ace director Nagesh Kukunoor’s art house village based movie Dhanak is released this Friday and doing so average business than expectations. Dhanak is a children’s movie which is story about Pari and she is having only one wish from life. She wants her brother Chotu to get back his eyesight before his ninth birthday.
4th day box office collection of the movie-
Movie collected average bucks for the makers and opened up with the very low occupancy in very first day of release. Movie collected only 1.80 crore from the very first day of release. On the other hand youth has good attraction towards the “Udta Punjab”.
Movie opened up with the 20% occupancy. Also movie released in less screens if we compare that to the “Udta Punjab”. In whole North India people have good attraction towards the other movies. Also Housefull 3 still attracting the people towards it.
Dhanak collected between 1.20 Crore from the very second day of release and 2.10 Crore from the third day of release. And with these earnings I am not sure that the movie going to make history and that’s bad.
Movie surely didn’t going to be the good profitable hit for the makers. But I think movie can collect average bucks for the makers and that’s good. Movie didn’t going to collect more than 1.00 Crore from the fourth day of release.
