The hacking of the official Twitter account of the celebrities in India has now become the one common thing. A hacking group that calls them “Legion” has earlier hacked the account of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party, and industrialist Vijay Mallya and it looks like there is no stopping for them. Legion has now hacked the Twitter account of two well known NDTV journalist- Ravish Kumar and Barkha Dutt. According to the sources, an email and the password of one of these two NDTV journalists was made public and then these two came to know that even their account has been hacked.
Meanwhile, the hacking group Legion in an earlier post claimed that ” We use Twitter as a means to reach the public. We don’t just hack Twitter accounts. Go through the data and find out.”
The official man from the NDTV has talked about the hacking, and he said” mail, Twitter accounts of senior NDTV journalists have been hacked. Attempts are being made to use emails out of context. We are asking relevant authorities, including courts, to take strong action.”
Well, the hacking of Twitter account is more serious than it looks and now, it will be interesting to see how, the Indian government and Supreme Court will react to it.
