The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi is expected to declare the results of the entrance test for Post Graduate Courses for the January 2020 session today on Friday, November 22, 2019. Candidates who have appeared in the examination (Computer-based test) can check their results by visiting the AIIMS website at aiimsexams.org once it will be declared. The results of individual candidates will not be intimated over the phone.
AIIMS PG 2020 Result Out
The entrance test for the Post Graduate Courses ( MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh(6 yrs), MDS) was held on November 17 and the final seat position was released on November 18.
Steps to check AIIMS PG result 2019 after its declaration:
- Visit the official website of AIIMS at aiimesxam.org
- On the homepage, click on the link for ‘AIIMS PG courses results January 2020’
- PDF with names of selected candidates for the online counselling/seat allocation will be displayed
- Check your name in the list
- Download it and take a print out of the same for future reference.
According to the notification, there are a few changes in the seat position for the PG programmes at the different AIIMS campuses for January 2020 session.
AIIMS, New Delhi: Five (05) more seats have been added in AIIMS New Delhi
AIIMS, Bhopal: The total seats of AIIMS, Bhopal remains unchanged
AIIMS, Bhubaneswar: Nine (9) more seats have been added in AIIMS Bhubaneswar
AIIMS, Jodhpur: One (1) more seat has been added in AIIMS Jodhpur
AIIMS, Patna: Three (3) more seats have been added and Six (6) seats have been reduced in AIIMS Patna
AIIMS, Raipur: Two (2) more seats have been added in AIIMS Raipur
AIIMS, Rishikesh: Three (8) more seats have been added and Twenty-Four(24)seats have been reduced in AIIMS Rishikesh
According to the important dates mentioned on the official AIIMS PG Notification, the basic registration for the July 2020 session of AIIMS PG will begin by November 27, 2019. The tentative date for the choice filling in Mock Round will begin on December 2, 2019, while the Open Round of Seat Allocation / Counselling will commence on December 20, 2019.
Candidates must note that the details of the online seat allocation/counselling process allocation of seats and the dates will be provided on the official website of AIIMS.
