Bharti Airtel announced free calls within the Airtel network Via. MyAirtel App. It offers the customers one-time 50 minutes of free calls within the network through its new version of MyAirtel application. The company also announced 2 GB of cloud storage space for the users. It is now countering Reliance Jio with this new offer, which has its own ecosystem of Apps that offer digital content.
These new features are available on both platforms like iOS and Android. To access the new MyAirtel features, Airtel users are advised to update their apps or download the new versions of it through Google Play Store and the App Store(iOS).As per the company sources – there are two new exciting Mobile Applications from the Airtel stable – Airtel Cloud and Airtel Dialer. Airtel Cloud provides 2 GB of free cloud storage and backup. Airtel Dialer offers 50 minutes of free Airtel-to-Airtel calling benefits, in addition to its call management feature.
In a statement, the company also said that Airtel Cloud will allow the users to back up Media content like Contacts, call history, documents video, audio and Images. The users of Airtel will not be charged for data consumed for uploading any content to the Cloud storage during night hours. The free scheduled upload feature is currently available for only prepaid users, but will be made available for postpaid users very soon.
Airtel Dialer app, apart from 50 minutes of free Airtel calls, users can use the mobile application to get real-time balance information.
