Alcatel has announced two new smart phones in their “Idol Flagship” named Idol 4 and Idol 4S. Both of these smart phones are introduced right before the MWC which will start from tomorrow i.e 22nd February. Alcatel also announced that they will be dropping their “One touch” flagship and will soon be operating under the brand name of “ALCATEL”. USP of Idol 4S can be said its ingenious packaging design which can be converted into a virtual reality goggle that let one have the experience of 360-degree viewing angle and gaming. It also come preloaded with an application called “OneTouch VR store” that enable one to download the virtual reality content or one can also stream the live virtual content with the help of “LittleStar”.
Moreover to let its users have incredible audio experience as Alcatel has collaborated along with faddish audio brands JBL and WAVES. It comes along with dual 3.6watts speakers, NXP’s TFA9890 Smart Power Amplifier, J22 JBL Headphones which deliver Hi-Fi surround sound and last but not the least one can preset the optimization of audio both manually as well as automatically.
Company has given these handsets a mesmerizing look by providing a glass back panel, metal rims and spin-effect texture. Moreover another eye-catching feature is that these phones are reversible in three ways i.e right side up, upside down or when flipped left to right. Audio in all the cases will remain on the correct side, moreover speaker grills ensures that one have obstruction free sound even when the handsets are turned upside down.
