Then , Arvind Kejriwal who is the chief minister of Delhi has introduced an ODD and Even rule to deal with the traffic and pollution problems.

As per this rule, the cars with the even number plate are allowed the Delhi roads on the even day of the month.

On the others side, the cars with the ODD number plate are only allowed on the Delhi roads on the ODD days of a month. This Even and odd rule were quite successful and people started using more public transport instead of a private vehicle.

However, the latest news is going out that Car sales went down in the month of June by  5.18% to 1,54,237 units as against 1,62,655 in the same year.

Although, there is an overall increase in the sale of vehicles but Indian government must be feeling relief after going through these stats especially when the there cars sales rate has cut down.
