An AAP Woman activist commites suicide after the accused released on bail

Delhi: On Tuesday, An activist of AAP Party commited suicide in Narela, Outer Delhi. Her family members were claiming that she had gone in the depression when she heard that her party colleague who was molester released on bail.


The Police said that the woman activist consume the poison at her home in the afternoon. During the treatment, she could not survived and died at LNJP hospital.

A senior police officer said that she registered a case of molestation in June against her party colleague Ramesh Wadhwa. Ramesh touched her inappropriately.

The family members of deceased told police that she went into depression when she about to know that the accused got the bail in the case. They also said that the local MLA protected the accused Ramesh Wadhwa.


The Delhi BJP alleged the top leaders of AAP Party and said that they ignored the harassment complaint of the woman activist.

Satish Upadhyay who is Delhi BJP president said that this incident has established the anti-woman character of Aam Aadmi Party.

He also alleged that CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and local MLA Sharad Chauhan are responsible for the death of an activist. She belonged to the party after that they did not help her in this case.

The leaders of AAP accused BJP of playing politics over her death and refuted the allegations.

Deepak Bajpai who is AAP spokesperson said that the party also wants action against culprit and there is no mention of the name of MLA in any complaints. Whosoever is molested the girl has no connection with the party.
