Asus has announced new android tablet with the name “Zenpad 3 8.0”. This tablet is quite similar to Asus Zenpad Z8 which was unveiled for the Verizon users. This slate is available in single color variant i.e black. It also come up with separate Zen clutch which not just work as a protective case but also double up as a stand. This Zen clutch also includes pocket for storing IDs as well as credit cards. Company has not yet divulged any details regarding the pricing of this device.

It measures 136.4 x 205.4 x 7.57 mm in dimension and weighs 320 grams. To make this device look appealing and enticing company has made it quite slim with just 7.57mm in thickness and also has used metal rims with leather like finish on the back.
It sports 7.9” IPS display delivering screen resolution up to 2048X1536 pixels and 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by Snapdragon 650 Hexa-core 64-bit processor (4x 1.4GHz ARM A53 + 2 x 1.8 GHz ARM A72). It also incorporates Adreno 510 GPU to augment the graphics.
It is available in two memory variants: one with 2GB RAM amalgamated along with 16GB ROM while other with 4GB RAM collaborated along with 32GB memory on the board. In both the cases memory can be further expandable up to 128GB via Micro SD card slot.
