Much hyped upcoming romantic TV series Behyadh is launching tonight on Sony TV at 9 PM. The show will pair up ex-Bigg Boss contestant Kushal Tandon and popular TV actress Jennifer Winget in lead roles. The show will be telecast on weekdays from Monday to Friday at 9 PM.
Actor Kushal Tandon is highly excited about his upcoming project and he took to twitter to share the news of the launch of Behyadh. “An auspicious day 2 start wid any good work It was today dat good won victory over bad. Watch Beyhadh tonite at 9 @sonytv Happy Dussehra”, the actor tweeted.
Produced by Cinevistan, Behyadh is finite series which will be concluded within a year. This TV serial is replacing the previous 9 PM prime-time slot of “Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania”, which didn’t garner much TRPs from the audience for quite some time.
Behyadh on the contrarily is a highly expensive TV series with its each episode is budgeted around Rs. 15-lakh. The serial is getting sponsorship from hosiery brand Macho and mobile company Vivo along with other sponsors and associates.
Actor Kuhal Tandon will be donning the actor’s hat on the small screen after a hiatus of around three years. He has last seen in Bigg Boss season 7 in which Gauhar Khan became the winner. Kushal will act opposite the beautiful Jennifer Winget, who is also making her comeback to the silver screen after a long time.
From hindsight, the plot of the story seems romantic. But it’s not that much simple. The storyline of Behyadh revolves around three characters; Jennifer, Kushal, and Saanjh. It’s going to be a romantic thriller with multiple twists and turns. This finite series will demonstrate two different colors of love – one driven by lust while the other by purity and selflessness.
The script of Behyadh has been adopted from a story written by Ritika Bajaj. The screenplay of Behyadh has been overseen by Sripad d’meleo. The dialogues of the film have been written by Radhika. This upcoming romantic drama is pitted against Zee TV’s highly popular show Kumkum Bhagya and Colors’ Chakravartin Samrat Ashoka. Behyadh will also fight against the newly launched big-bannered Mahesh Bhatt’s Naamkaran on star plus.
