Even in today, some places, prohibitory orders banning large gatherings were imposed and cell phone internet services were suspended.

Overall, you can say that today’s protest was not that worst like previous one. In Bihar’s Ara town, around 70 km from state capital Patna, more than a dozen people were injured in clashes between Bharat Bandh supporters and a pro-reservation group, comprising Dalits and backward castes. Also, the reports are coming that the police used batons to bring the situation under control.

Also, in some other places Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Muzaffarpur, Bhojpur, Sheikhpura, Nawada and Darbhanga, hundreds of men blocked roads, halted trains and forcibly closed markets. Even though the police didn’t let anyone do anything bad and that’s great. In Uttarakhand, prohibitory orders banning large gatherings were imposed in Nainital. Overall, in the end, police and government took very serious action towards all the protestors and said that they are going to take all steps against someone who’ll ruin peace.
