The very shocking news is coming from the Kapoor’s family that Rajiv Kapoor who is a younger brother of Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, passes away on Tuesday morning. He was 58 years old. He was a known personality of the Bollywood industry. He was suffering from a massive Cardiac Arrest. His health was getting worse in the morning, which Randhir Kapoor rushed him to the Inlaks Hospital, Mumbai. The hospital is the closest medical facility near his house, Chembur. When he brought him to the hospital, doctors declared his death.
Rajiv Kapoor Passes Away at 58
Randhir Kapoor confirmed his death news through his statement. He said,” I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him”. He also said,” I am at the hospital and waiting to receive his body”.
Rajiv Kapoor Death: Life and Career
He was born on 25th August 1962 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and was famous celebrity and a film actor, producer, director in the Bollywood industry. He was a beloved member of Kapoor’s family. He was the son of Actor Raj Kapoor and actress Krishna Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor was an elder brother of him.
Actors Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor were his uncle while Prithviraj Kapoor was his paternal grandfather. He started his education life from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour School, Chembur, Mumbai 71.
He started his debut in Ek Jaan Hai Hum which was released in 1983. He did his first leading role in his father’s directorial venture Ram Teri Ganga Maili in 1985. He has done many Bollywood movies.
