Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta is going to announce the CAT 2018 result on Saturday, 5th January 2019 at 1 am. The management has released the notification concerning CAT 2018 result on the official website of CAT 2018.

Candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2018 examination can check or download their CAT 2018 result through the official website of CAT 2018. Each shortlisted candidate will directly receive interview letters from Indian Institute of Management.
In 2018 CAT examination total registered candidates were 2, 41,000 and the candidates who appeared for the examination were 2, 09,405. As compared to the previous years registered candidates, this year has shown increase in registration. In 2015, 2016, 2017 total registered candidates were 2, 18,664, 2, 32,436 and 2, 31,067 respectively and the candidates appeared for the same years were 179,602, 1, 95,679 and 1, 99,632 respectively.
The CAT 2018 registration was started on 8 August 2018 and the registration was ended on 26 September 2018. The CAT 2018 registration & application fee was Rs.1900. CAT 2018 Admit card release date was on 24 October 2018.
The CAT 2018 exam was conducted on 25th November 2018 at more than 370 centres across the country. The exam was held for three hours.
There were three sections in the examination question paper such as Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), Quantitative Ability. The first section on VARC carries 34 questions whereas the difficulty level of DILR questions were of moderate to tough. On the other hand Quantitative Ability section carries 34 questions with maximum number of 12 Non-MCQs in Quant section and most of the questions were on Arithmetic and Algebra. Candidates got 60 minutes to finish each section and they had to finish one section earlier going on to the next one.

Step 1: Firstly, visit the official website of CAT 2018, iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Homepage will be open
Step 3: On the homepage, you will find a link ‘Scorecard for CAT 2018’, Click to download
Step 4: The new page will open, where you have to fill your user ID and password.
Step 5: After filling the correct details, your result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Check your result and save or download it, also get a printout for further use.
Candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2018 examination can visit the official website of the CAT 2018 for latest notifications by the management regarding the announcement of the result. The selected candidates will receive a personal interview letter and will have to appear for the interview on the given date and location mention in the letter with their documents as a proof.
