Two legendary clubs are clashing in New Jersey this summer. Argentine giants Boca Juniors and River Plate are all set to face off against Mexico’s biggest clubs Chivas and Club America in a tournament known as the Colossus Cup. The competition has also already started with River Plate playing Guadalajara against Chivas on June 28 in San Diego’s County Credit Union Stadium, where River Plate defeated Chivas de Guadalajara with 5-1 scores.

Boca and River’s Superclasico rivalry is very much popular and the two last year have played out an extreme Copa Libertadores final. Chivas were also involved in the International Champions Cup later in the summer and is going to face off against Roma, Benfica, and Atletico Madrid, in the coming dates of June 16, 20 and 23, respectively and the games will be shown on ESPN.
