Oppo ColorOS 7 Will Be Revealed On November 26
Although the company hasn’t officially revealed what features its new custom Android skin will bring along, but a few leaked screenshots give us an idea of what it will look like
ColorOS 7 will come with new charging and transition animations, and it will be based on Android 10. There will be new icons and the notifications bar has also been redesigned. The update is also said to bring a new Game Boost mode – although how it’s going to be any different from the current version is unknown. More details are awaited.
In the screenshots, one can see that all the apps are placed on the home screens and there’s no app drawer. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be one since the previous version allowed users to switch between the app drawer and home screen design.
Meanwhile, Oppo has also shared a short video on Weibo with a gaming theme, indicating that ColorOS 7 will come with a new version of Game Boost.
Earlier, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has the development of a bloat-free, near-stock Android experience for Realme phones. He revealed that it will be based on the ColorOS 7 software experience but not revealed much information about it.
Notably, apart from Oppo, its sister brand Realme also uses the ColorOS skin, but will not use the same new ColorOS 7 skin due to difference in the brand’s ideologies. Realme devices will use a custom cleaner version of ColorOS 7, which we should see soon in either leaks or an official unveiling.
