Crime Branch arrested 18 people in Indian Army Papers Leake Case :- Indian Army cancelled the recruitment examinations paper on Sunday after the question papers of the recruitment tests were leaked. The Crime Branch of Thane Police conducted the raids and they arrested around eighteen people. The arrested people were from Goa and Maharashtra.
According to the Army source that the name of centres where the examinations were cancelled including Kirkee, Goa, Ahmedabad, Ahmednagar, Nagpur and Kamptee. Ashutosh Dhumbre who is the Thane Police Joint Commissioner said that according to the secret information, we prepared a team with all crime branch sleuths and raided across cities like Pune, Nagpur, and Goa.
He said that we had found that aspirants could call the agents or involved academies, like Pune-based Raje Chhatrapati Academy or Nagpur-based Tango Charlie, a day before the exam and be given three hours to study the paper. They were circulated the leaked paper on Whatsapp too.
An aspirant said that we were not aware of this and have come from out of town for writing this exam. The paper was good and had questions related to general knowledge, current issues and mathematics were asked. I am worried on rescheduled of the exam because I do not have the money to stay and write it again and so will miss the opportunity to improve my life.
