The Head of the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police named Colonel Le Hong Thang stated that at around 11:30 AM in the area of Bac Son ward which is in Pho Yen town in the Thai Nguyen region, where the policemen coordinated with one more police department to detain the suspect named Nguyen Van Nam of aged 24 years old hailed from Cat Hai district in Hai Phong. The suspect named Nam was recognised as the major suspect of executing a cheeky robbery at the transaction office of Vietcombank on Dinh Vu Street in Dong Hai 2 Ward which is in Hai An District on the mid-noon of 7th January where the man used a gun to terrorise and manipulate transaction representative and stole around 3 billion dongs. After executing the offence, the perpetrator persisted in the risk and robbing the motorbike of a security guard and then ran to Cat Hai district in Hai Phong city and then, he left the bike at the bridge area of Tan Vu – Lach Huyen.
After the news comes in the headlines the Director of the Hai Phong Public Security Department named Major General Vu Thanh Chuong ordered the officers to be detained and ordered the Criminal Police Department along with the order to the police of the provinces to unite in arresting the perpetrators of the offence.
