Delhi voted in the sixth phase on May 12 for voting for Lok Sabha Elections 2019. A total number of 164 candidates are in competition from total of seven seats in the national capital that is: Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi and South Delhi. Out of total number of candidates, there were total of 18 women. The voter turnout in Delhi was recorded to be 60 per cent in national election 2019. While in the year 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, the voter turnout was recorded as 65 per cent with BJP overtaking all seven parliamentary seats.
