DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Registration for 150 posts Eligibility Criteria And Age Limit The Defence Research and Development Organization, also known as DRDO, has made an opening for the youth of India for various apprentice posts. The DRDO has announced the opening of 150 apprentice posts for the youth of India. The interested candidates are advised to register themselves on the official portal. The job application form will be only filed online. There is no facility to apply for these posts via offline mode. The portal is available for the application form till 7th February 2022.

As the posts are technical, it is mandatory to be graduate along with the diploma or the graduation in the concerned trade on the basis of the posts that they want to apply for. The candidates will be posted in the Research Centre Imarat. DRDO is a government agency that comes under the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India. This is a golden opportunity for the youngsters of India who want to serve our country.

- 40 Post for the graduation apprentice
- 60 Posts for the Technician diploma based apprentice
- 50 posts for the Trade apprentice
Education Qualification
- Graduation apprentice must be B.E or B.Tech in ECE, EEE and CSE, Mechanical or Chemical. B.Com and B.Sc pass students may also apply for these posts.
- Technical diploma apprentice requires to have a diploma in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical or Chemical diploma.
- Trade apprentice candidates need to be ITI pass out from the NCVT or SCVT affiliation in Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic or Welder.
Age limit:
- According to the notification of the DRDO, every applicant must be at least 21-year-old. He must be 18-year-old before 1st January 2022.
Selection process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a transparent process. All the applicants need to pass the written test in the initial stage of the selection process. Later, they will have to face an interview. The trade-related study will help the applicants in the written exam.
