Live: DUSU Polls Election Results 2017: NSUI Wins Top Posts, Vice-President, ABVP Gets Secretary Post

As you all know that yesterday on DU Students union voting was held and today they announced the winner. As per the recent reports, yesterday, after 42.8% students voted, the DU is all set with the result. As per the reports, The NSUI won President and Vice-president Seat also on the other hand ABVP has managed to win the Secretary post. You can say that the results are it shocking but they are as they are.

After the University declared joint secretary for ABVP, the NSUI moving HC asking for a stay on the secretary and joint secretary post. Even the sources are saying that NSUI is claiming that there was some kind of cheating on the secretary post vote counting and the CCTV cameras were off during the counting.  Also, they are making a noise and police has to handle the students from now.

Here is the list of total voting in DU-

President: NSUI (16299), ABVP (14709). Vice-president: NSUI (16431), ABVP (16256). Secretary: ABVP (17156), NSUI (14532).

Note- Recounting is on for joint secretary post.

Well, after the complaint of NSUI, the recounting is on for the joint Secretary post. The NSUI are saying that candidate was ahead the entire time but the final result was not in his favor. After that the claimed that something is wrong and they are looking for the re-counting of the votes.

Also, as we told you that Police has to handle the students because of the noise and like “We want to recount” and “We want Justice”. Well, the proper news of joint secretary post is yet to come but we are sure that till now the ABVP is winning the post. The results are shocking and very close for NSUI and ABVP. Overall, the final result is that NSUI won the election.
