This hour breaking news is that an earthquake of around a magnitude of 2.7 calculated on the Richter scale was reported in Himachal Pradesh on the evening of Wednesday. The quake was recorded at 5.04 PM IST and the epicentre of the quake was reported at a depth of 28 km east-southeast of Dharamshala and the confirmation of this location is stated by the National Centre of Seismology (NCS). The reports stated that the quake was around 5 km depth in the ground. This is the second quake in a single day and the first quake was recorded on the morning of Assam carrying a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale. There are no reports of any damage in the state but the local police stated that there was little damage at the epicentre which is slightly negligible and no humans were harmed during the quake.

Just before the Himachal Pardesh earthquake, there was an earthquake that happened in the Assam state in the early morning and the epicentre of the quake was reported near Dhekiajuli town where it was received 140 km down the north of Guwahati. The earthquake shakes the peoples at 7:51 AM IST carrying a depth of 17 km from the ground. There was lots of damage were reported in the city and the local police help the injured peoples and now, the rescue forces are in the action to handle the situation of the city.
