This year, because of the on-going global coronavirus pandemic, the entertainment industry that has shut down its production and shooting practices, are now slowly and steadily starting the process. So, it might take a little more time in filming due to restricted guidelines laid by the Indian Government to stop the spread of covid-19.
The movie Drishyam was earlier released on 19 December 2013 in Kerala, after the filmmakers began the shooting in the first week of October 2013. Though, the filming was initially planned for 52 days but it was completed within 44 days.
In this sequel, the same is being expected from the cast and crew of Drishyam 2: The Resumption. However, the shooting of the movie has already been delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic but now the filming has started from today onward. The principal photography has already been started on 21st September 2020 and it is likely to hit the theatres around December 2020 maybe on the occasion of Christmas or New Year.

It uncovers major crew members names who are involved in the production of the movie along with the pages of series are flipping over till it reaches to the cover page with the title Drishyam written over it. The teaser ends with Mohanlal opening his eyes. We can’t say anything much from the teaser but it seems to be very intriguing at the same time.

Mohanlal who is featuring the lead role once again in Drishyam 2, released some images from the Mahurat and those are now getting viral, which can show the craze for this movie among the audience.
In one of those images, Mohanlal has also revealed his look for the film and has been seen done a black moustache along with salt-and-pepper beard, which is looking pretty intense.
The film has now finally gone on the floors and the filming starting on Monday in Kochi. Before starting the filming process and joining the sets, the cast and crew of the film underwent a coronavirus test.
