Bachchan Pandey Movie Teaser, Trailer, First Look Poster, Release Date, & Box Office Prediction: Akshay Kumar has added another film to his roster of releases next year, titled Bachchan Pandey and thus he is going to be one busy man in 2020. The first-look poster of the film was shared on Friday. Akshay Kumar took to twitter to share this with his fans, he wrote, “Coming on Christmas 2020! In & As #BachchanPandey. In #SajidNadiadwala’s Next, directed by @farhad_samji.” Recently, Akshay Kumar announced his next project ‘Bell Bottom’ which is a spy drama that is inspired by true events. Helmed by Ranjit Tiwari the film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 22, 2021, which is a month after Bachchan Pandey. However, as per the latest development, Khiladi’s action thriller has been postponed for time being. It was slated to release on Christmas 2020.

The poster shows Akshay in a blue, small lungi. Moustache, gold chains, tilak, black lungi and nunchaku, this is the look of Bachchan Pandey. Shedding his Bharat Kumar and Khiladi Kumar avatar, Akshay Kumar has donned a new look for the character. According to reports in media, the scripting of Akshay starrer Bachchan Pandey is still underway and it will take time for its completion. Therefore the makers have decided to push the release as the pre-production process will be time-consuming. The team needs time to fine-tune the script.

Bachchan Pandey is up for release on Christmas 2020. The further cast is yet to be revealed. It will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji. The film will now clash with Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha, a remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. It will also likely clash with Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor’s film with Luv Ranjan.
With Bachchan Pandey, Akshay is returning to the masala entertainer. Talking about the film, a source told a website, “It’s entertaining and extremely messy. Akshay has recently shot for the film’s poster too. While there are many social dramas he’s known for, this will be in a completely Rowdy Rathore space. It’s a fun potboiler where Akki will playing to the plexes.”

On the work front, Akshay recently finished shooting for Good News in which he will be seen opposite Kareena Kapoor, also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and will release on Christmas this year. He is also currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi paired opposite Katrina Kaif, the latest installment in Shetty’s cop universe of movies.
He will also be seen Laxmmi Bomb, Hindi remake of Tamil film Kanchana and will be paired alongside Kiara. Akshay is also set to make his web series debut with Amazon Prime Videos’ Fire.
Kriti Sanon to reunite with Akshay Kumar in Bachchan Pandey
As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Kriti Sanon will be romancing Akshay Kumar in ‘Bachchan Pandey’. Speaking about it, the actress told the leading tabloid, “I had a blast working with them (Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala) in ‘Housefull 4’, and super excited that we will be collaborating again. It’s my third film with Sajid sir, and again, a very entertaining one.”
The film is supposed to hit screens on Christmas 2020, clashing with Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chadha, and Ranbir Kapoor-Ajay Devgn’s untitled movie with Luv Ranjan. Akshay had earlier referred to the clash, and given his statement on the same.
However, Akshay’s most recent release will be Mission Mangal, which is going to hit theatres on August 15, 2019. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, and others.
