Telugu TV actresses Bhargavi and Anusha Reddy killed in car accident: Telugu actor Bhargavi (20) of TV show ‘Mutyala Muggu‘ fame and aspiring actor Anusha Reddy (21) died in a car accident in Vikarabad district of Telangana on Wednesday. According to a Times of India report, their car hit a tree, killing them on the spot while the actors were returning from Vikarabad to Hyderabad on Tuesday night after wrapping up the shoot of their upcoming TV show along with two others. Car driver Chakri and another person Vinay Kumar traveling in the same vehicle were injured.
According to the reports of India Today, the police said the car driver Chakri tried to avert a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction and hit a roadside tree near Appareddy Guda bus stop in Chevella during the early hours of Wednesday.
The reports further suggested that while Bhargavi died on the spot while Anusha Reddy deceased due to her injuries while being shifted to hospital. The injured, car driver Chakri and another person Vinay Kumar were admitted to government-run Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.
The television artists had gone to Vikarabad on Monday for shooting in Ananthagiri forest. After completing the shooting, the team was returning to Hyderabad.
Bhargavi was a resident of Nirmal and played the female antagonist named Nandhika in the popular TV show ‘Mutyala Muggu‘. Anusha was an aspiring actor from Jayashankar Bhupalapally in Telangana.
Mutyala Muggu is a Telugu drama television series starring Bhumi and Nandika. The story revolves around the life of Bhulaxmi, her mother and family who hails from a remote village called Paderu. Bhulaxmi is a Kabaddi and Bharatanatyam enthusiast who dreams of excelling in sports and pursuing further studies. However, her mother who has a bitter past holds her back from fulfilling her dreams.
