Watch Live: How Bollywood Celebs Reacted on Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 Notes Ban : The day November 9, 2016, will go in the record books with a historic day as the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced a surgical strike on the black money. The PM of India announced the ban of the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 from the day itself.Well, the announcement from Indian’s Prime Minister went like the bombshell, not just for the Indian population, but for the entire world. The decision has been appreciated by the worldwide and especially from the RBI (Reserve Bank of India). PM also announced that they RBI had brought a new note of Rs. 500 and a brand new note of Rs. 2000 to replace the old notes of Rs. 500 and to extinct the note of Rs. 1000.
According to toe the RBI, ban on the 500 and 1000 notes is highly demanded as there were a lot of funding for the terrorist activity by these big notes.
