Netflix has announced 17 films that will be released soon on its platform that includes many big names. Now we are here to talk about one of the 17 films titled ‘Bombay Rose’. It is the animated film that has been designed, written and as well directed by Gitanjali Rao. The beautifully designed film portraits the love story of a flower vendor. The film had its world premiere in Venice Film Festival. The animated film took over 18 months along with 60 artists to animate it. It is one of the biggest platforms in itself. The entire film took six years to make the dream project.

Gitanjali’s love for the animated film is transparent as we have seen her Printed Rainbows of 2006 that was directed, animated and produced by Gitanjali herself and as well as True Love Story of 2014. Now, we have a new animated film that is not a short film as the last two even the 93 minutes film. If we talk about the cast, it will include Cyli Khare as Kamala, Gitanjali Kulkarni as flower Seller, Amit Deondi as Salim, Makrand Deshpande as Mike, Shishir Sharma as Anthony Pereira, Virendra Saxena as Kamala’s Grandfather, Amardeep Jha as Mrs Dsouza among other talented actors. The film has been made in Bombay and talks about the same place.
