Sacred Games season 2 Release Date
The end of the web television series of sacred games season 1 was full of suspense and the audience from then only started demanding for its next season. But now the wait is over, Netflix is coming up with the new season with more drama and suspense. Netflix also made an official announcement regarding the making of Sacred Games season 2. At best we could expect the release of the second season of Sacred Games by mid of 2019. Release date is 15th August 2019.

Sacred Games 2 cast
The main charater of the Sacred Games series such as Sartaj Singh, Ganesh Gaitonde, Khanna Guru Ji will be there in new season too. Saif Ali Khan back as police detective Sartaj Singh, while Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be back with his gangster character, Ganesh Gaitonde.
Pankaj Tripathi as Khanna Guru Ji, who seems to be the mastermind of the plan, have a small role in the first series but might become a key player in the second one. Surveen Chawala who was killed by Gaitonde in the first episode of sacred games might be seen in new season.
Varun Grover will carry on as the chief writer on the show and Vikramaditya Motwane will be back as the director.
Sacred Games 2 Story Plot
However, the last episode of the show seems to be very interesting as Sartaj Singh found Trivedi in the bunker who Gaitonde claims that he is the only one who will survive. It seems to be like that Mumbai will be hit by chemical or nuclear attack. So in the second season it is obvious to observe that Sartaj will try to stop the conspiracy in order to save the city’s natives.
New season will also show rise in Gaintonde power, when he will release from the prison. The role of Guru Ji in the attack will also be revealed in the coming season. According to Pankaj Tripathi who is playing the role of Guruji said “Guruji is a larger-than-life part and will become the most sought-after character in the series.”
He further added about his role “My character becomes as big as Gaitonde.”
When Will Sacred Games 2 come back with the third season?
Like in previous season of sacred games fans will also see multiple timelines in the story with more flashbacks.
Erik Barmack, who is the vice president of International Netflix Originals said in a statement, “We’ve been thrilled by the response to Sacred Games from fans worldwide, and especially in India, to this high-quality production.”
He further added, “It’s incredibly exciting for us to take the story of Sacred Games forward and open a new chapter in the series with its second season.”
