Padmaavat Cast and Crew

As you all may surely know that the movie is a 2018 Indian epic period drama which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Also, the movie is featuring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.  Also, you all are going to see some other faces such as Aditi Rao Hydari, Jim Sarbh, Raza Murad, and Anupriya Goenka in the supporting roles. The movie is fully based on the epic poem Padmavat (1540) by Malik Muhammad Jayasi.

Padmaavat Story Plot

Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmaavat is the story of honor, valor, and obsession. Queen Padmavati is known for her exceptional beauty along with a strong sense of justice and is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh and pride of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous kingdom in the north-west of India. The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan-Allaudin Khilji. The Sultan who is a tyrant is fixated on wanting anything that is of exceptional beauty for himself. He lays siege on the impregnable fortress of Chittorgarh.

After a grueling 6 months, he returns empty-handed. He becomes obsessed and now wants to capture Chittor and its Queen at any cost. He returns with a bigger army and raging fury. He attacks Chittor with brutal force and a bloody and fearsome battle takes place between the righteous Maharawal Ratan Singh defending his kingdom and the honor of his Queen and Sultan Allaudin Khilji. Khilji manages to breach the fortress but it goes in vain as the Queen chooses to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect her dignity.

Padmaavat Review and Ratings

The movie is based on a great story which is why it is on the controversy. Also, the VFX effects are going to make you all amazed. Padmaavat is first Indian movie which is set to release in IMAX 3D. Also, the movie got the big heavy budget of 200 Crores INR which makes it the expensive of Bollywood. If we talk about scripting then we can say that it is good, war scenes aren’t that good as expected by the viewers. Also, the movie got seriously weak screenplay.

Well, if you are looking for something historical and wanted to watch the best VFX Bollywood movie then you all should go for it. Also, I might like to add that the movie got awesome acting work and all actors did their job seriously. So, we don’t really have any big reason to say that you shouldn’t watch this movie at the box office. You all can watch Padmaavat with your friends and family.
