Zee Cine Awards 2020 took place in Mumbai and amidst all the coronavirus scare, celebs including Hrithik Roshan, Govinda, Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday and Rajkummar Rao attended the award night. Hrithik delivered a massive hit with Super 30 and he has revealed time and again about how he felt it was a tough decision for him to choose the film that created all the waves and brought about a superlative success that became a new wave for the entire nation! Hrithik also emphasized that his heart wanted to do the film and he wanted to know what would be the outcome. Well, the outcome is certainly in favor of our favorite ‘Duggu’ as once again, he won the award for the ‘Best Actor’ at the prestigious ZEE Cine Awards.
The decision has been taken as a welcome move by all his fans who feel Hrithik deserves it entirely for his fantastic performance as teacher Anand Kumar in Super 30. The movie reiterates how phenomenal performer Hrithik was in the film. The actor from the beginning showed his versatility as an actor where the actor played double roles in Kaho Naa Pyaar hai, after which the actor played the character of an Emperor in Jodhaa Akbar, stirring things up Hrithik aced the character of a blind man in Kaabil, followed by the character of Ethan Mascarenhas who is a quadriplegic and the latest one being Khalid in WAR.
The actor left no stone unturned treated his fans with two distinct characters in WAR and Super 30 in a span of just two months. It was obvious that after giving such phenomenal on-screen performances one after the other and always treating the fans with something new and unique, Hrithik truly deserves every bit of the award.
Hrithik also performed at the Zee Cine Awards, which took place in Mumbai on Friday (March 13) evening. “Is it surprising that I still spend the ENTIRE day nervous before a performance? Wtf,” he wrote, sharing glimpses of his performance. Hrithik played the math wizard in Super 30, which marked his entry into the biopic genre.
The film, which also starred Mrunal Thakur and Nandish Sandhu in key roles, was a success at the box office and earned over Rs 100 crore in India. It was also declared tax-free in a number of states, including Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
