Fire Breaks Out at Beaumonde Towers in Mumbai’s Worli, Deepika Padukone Among Residents: At Beaumonde Towers in Mumbai’s Worli area, A fire has broken out. Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone was also resident of the same building.
The fire begins from the duplex apartment on the 33rd floor, B-wing, of the building at Appasaheb Marathe Marg. Thankfully, no fatalities or casualties have been reported in the building so far.
Deepika was not inside the 34-storey building, as per the fire department officials and sources says about the actress. Deepika has residence in one floor of the building and office in another but both were unaffected with the fire, the sources added further.
The building A resident is having a Tower B, where the fire is raging, that has been evacuated, stated by A resident. The other two towers are now under process to clear out.
The leading, News agency ANI, reported that more than 90 people have been saved from the deadly fire.
The fire department said that The blaze has been graded Level 3. Ten fire engines, two quick response vehicles, five jumbo tankers and an ambulance at the spot, where the Firefighting operations are underway for this rescued operation.
The Senior Maharashtra government officials have said that they discuss with with the fire department regarding using the choppers to douse the fire. “It was ruled out after the fire department said that the chopper’s wings could likely aggravate the fire,” said an official.
The Mumbai police tweeted, “Our staff & Fire Brigade is on the spot for assistance. They are trying their best to douse the fire and provide necessary help to people there.”
